Introduction
Based on the submission of workplace gender audit data templates, the Commission will publish high-level data to a public data insights portal. Data will appear for each defined entity as well as for different industries. This document sets out what the Commission intends to publish there.
The list of industries is as follows:
- Victorian Public Service
- Creative industries, finance, transport and other
- Public health care
- Local government
- Universities
- Water and land management
- TAFE and other education
- Police and emergency services.
Privacy
The Commission is committed to protecting the privacy of defined entity employees and is taking a series of steps to safely publish data in the public data insights portal. For more information about our approach to privacy management, read our privacy policy.
Self-described gender and intersectional data
To protect privacy, the Commission will not publish self-described gender data or intersectional data at the individual organisational level in the public data insights portal. Where appropriate, aggregated self-described gender data will appear at the industry level.
The Commission will conduct targeted intersectional data analysis and publish aggregated intersectional data only where appropriate and safe.
