In 2023, a progress audit is made up of 5 datasets of workforce data and an employee experience data set. The first section of this appendix describes what information belongs in each of the 5 workforce datasets. The second section of this appendix describes the fields within each of the 5 workforce datasets.

Mandatory field | Your organisation must populate this field in 2023. The Commission won’t be able to process your audit submission without it. |
Pilot data field | This optional data is being collected on a trial basis in 2023. It was not part of the 2021 workplace gender audit. |
New definition | The definition of this dataset or data field has changed significantly since the 2021 workplace gender audit. |
Spec change | The accepted values for this field have changed since the 2021 workplace gender audit. |
Format change | This data was part of the 2021 workplace gender audit but will be collected in a different way in 2023. |
