Requirements
There are required and recommended items for each section of your Gender Equality Action Plan. This page provides a consolidated checklist of all of the requirements.
Baseline audit analysis
Your workplace gender audit results will show where your organisation has areas for improvement in relation to the workplace gender equality indicators.
Meaningful consultation and engagement
You must consult with your governing bodies, employees, employee representatives and other relevant people to develop your Gender Equality Action Plan.
Case for change
You must clearly articulate how your organisation has considered the gender equality principles in the Act in preparing your plan.
Strategies and measures
You must document your strategies and measures for 2021-2025 based on the results of your audit.
Leadership and resourcing your GEAP
You must develop a strategic resource plan that outlines how development and implementation of your plan will be resourced.
Measuring progress
You will report your progress in relation to the strategies and measures set out in your Gender Equality Action Plan at least every second year.
